The hotel is simply incredible! The rooms in the lagoon tower are so huge and felt more like a condo. They were clean overall, but the doors needed some extra attention. The service with HGVC was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff making my stay so easy and enjoyable. The location is just perfect, close to the convention center and offering breathtaking views of Diamond Head. And dining options were great, especially with local fruits available. Definitely a fantastic choice for a memorable stay!

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, but the construction site next door caused a lot of noise during weekdays. The service was hit-or-miss, but they did go above and beyond for us when we needed it. The location was convenient with plenty of nearby attractions, but access restrictions felt unnecessary. The dining options were decent, but some areas felt like cash grabs.

The rooms weren't horrible, but the kitchen was extremely small, and the air conditioner worked after we complained and set it to 65 degrees. Service went above and beyond, even providing taxi vouchers for hospital visits. The location was good, close to the convention center, and had lots of dining and entertainment options. Dining was a bit of a cash cow, and the breakfast was pricey. The facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was both delightful and a bit noisy due to the construction site next door. The room eventually became available at the Lagoon Tower, where I own a two-bedroom oceanfront unit. Overall, the room was well-stocked, but could use some renovation in the future to keep up with The Grand Islander.
Rooms
8.0
The room overlooked a wonderful construction site in the neighboring property, which was noisy on weekdays. Eventually, I got a room at the Lagoon Tower, and it was well-stocked, except for a blender that was promptly delivered upon request.
Service
9.0
Despite using the same elevator with equipment making it crowded, the staff were still personable, friendly, and attentive. They even helped arrange surfboard storage during my stay.
Location
9.0
The location is superb, being within walking distance of the main shopping and restaurant precinct in Waikiki. The area is clean and offers breathtaking views, particularly of Diamond Head.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a bit of a cash cow, and breakfast was pricey at $123. However, the food quality was good, especially at the Tropic Bar & Grill.
Facilities
The hotel facilities were satisfactory, but a renovation may be necessary in the coming years to match up with other properties in the area.
